The Three Crowns, Brinkworth

By admin | Sep 28, 2006

The Three Crowns Inn in Brinkworth is well known for its excellent food and attracts clientele from miles around. Menus are written on large blackboards and contain a diverse range of dishes. Well behaved children are welcome at lunchtime and dogs are allowed in the bar area only, where food can also be eaten.

Also in Brinkworth, The Suffolk Arms also serves food.

    Dear all,

last week we had an excellent dinner with friends at your place. Thanks for that. As a desert, I had a choice of cheeses (as a Dutchman cheese is a “must”) of which two were from Kerry’s cheese.

One of the friendly waitresses wrote down the name and I tried to find it on the internet. Unfortunately without any result. I’m especially interested in the Kerry’s 7 cheeses one.

Can you please help me to find the good name of the website, or the address where I can buy Kerry’s cheese ? That would be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    Frans Beukelman, Malmesbury

17/4/09 Nine of us visited the Three Crowns at lunchtime today for my cousins 86th birthday. Yet again what a wonderful meal we all had. It is our favouite place to eat, although we live in Maidenhead in Berkshire, my cousins in Bath and relatives near Southampton, all travelled to get a supurb meal. Thank you very much, and keep up the excellent cooking!!

My partner and I attended the Three Crowns in October 2009. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was to die for. The drinks service was quite slow but the food more than made up for it. We had an extremley nice evening. Thank you very much

On behalf of all of us we would like to say thank you for a lovely evening. The food was amazing and plenty of it. We would highly recommend having a christmas dinner here. The staff were very helpful and friendly which was really good as they were full to the brim with christmas party’s.

Friendly cosy atmosphere, Excellent Bar and Restaurant service.
The Food was delicious and the portions very generous.
Between 4 adults for our main meals, we chose the Vegetable Risotto, Trout, T Bone Steak and Pork. All beautifully presented and cooked perfectly. Can’t fault it at all and worth every penny. The puddings we chose sticky toffee pudding, served with warm custard it was very light and tasty.
The menu choice is amazing and if you fancy something a little different, this is the perfect restaurant!
Would definately recommend this restaurant for any occassion.

What a wonderful first visit to your pub. My 65th birthday treat from my three sons. The food was excellent I could not fault it! Yes, it was expensive, but you get what you pay for. My only gripe was the fact that you spelt our nameplace incorrectly on the table! But it was quite funny. No it was not SICKLEY but stickley. Never mind! ……thankyou once again……..

These comments start in March 2009 when we attended The 3 Crowns for Jackie’s mum’s 90th birthday lunch which was excellent from the time we arrived until the time we left.

Move the clock forward 15 months for Jackie’s dad’s 90th birthady lunch today, and there was only one place to go. You can see longevity is in the family

To better what we had last year I thought would be impossible but you succeeded.

From our party of 8 many thanks for your kind hospitality, excellent service and once again superb food.

We visited the three crowns in april and were not entirely happy with our experience. I sent a letter with my comments the next day and was disappointed not to receive an acknowledgement. I also sent an emai recently and did not get a response . Unfortunately it has put us off visiting the three crowns at brinkworth again
