Wiltshire Police have begun an investigation after a man fell to his death from the fourth floor of a multi storey car park in Swindon.
Officers were called just after midday today (Monday 25 June) to the Fleming Way car park opposite Swindon Crown Court and the Menzies Hotel.
Islington Street and Fleming Way were closed temporarily while the investigation went on at the scene.
Det Sgt Tom Straker said: “At this early stage we do not believe that anyone else was involved.
“The area would have been busy at the time with shoppers and other passers-by and we would like to hear from anyone who saw a man acting suspiciously on Floor 4 of the car park around midday.
“Anyone with information is asked to call 101 and ask for Swindon CID.”
